My Past:
My name is Christina Marie Gleb. I come from a small town about thirty minutes south of Northwest University, called Vashon Island. Before deciding on Northwest, I was committed to Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. After getting in contact with Steve Bain, Northwest's Volleyball coach, I got a chance to play here and in May of my senior year, I switched to Northwest! At home, I go to an Assemblies of God church called Vashon Island Community Church, commonly known as VICC. It is a very small church, but will always be my home. I am the only one of my four siblings that go to church at VICC, but I have lots of friends at church that are practically my family. I have 3 siblings, all of which are older than me. Although growing up we always would fight, now getting together with my siblings is one of my favorite parts of being home. At Northwest, I plan to major in Organizational Communications.
One of my achievements is being named All Nisqually League MVP my senior year for volleyball. Volleyball is one of my biggest passions and knowing all my hard work paid off was a great feeling.
